As CEO and Creative Director for Spyre Marketing, Emily works with businesses to help them connect with educators through most every marketing channel from email and direct mail to social media and digital advertising. Before founding Spyre Marketing, formerly Underscore Creative, in 2001 and focusing her attention on the K-12 education market, Emily held copywriting and account management positions at several advertising agencies where she worked with clients in the banking, furniture, agricultural, and education sectors. Emily holds a master’s of library and information science from Emporia State University and bachelor’s degrees in English and Women’s Studies. In her free time, she loves to read, eat doughnuts, knit sweaters, and ride her bike up big mountains. Though rarely all at the same time.
